“My biggest goal is to bring them back” – President speaks about citizens of Uzbekistan working abroad
During his visit to the small industrial zone in Namangan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked to employees of one of the enterprises there.
Reportedly, Mirziyoyev spoke about creating new jobs, bringing back citizens of Uzbekistan working under harsh conditions in foreign countries and the issue of gender equality in labor.
“Lots of our citizens, your neighbors, many of your spouses are still abroad. My biggest goal, no matter how hard, is to slowly bring them back to the country, to their families. It is difficult, but we still need to try and set goals,” he said.
Talking to the head of the enterprise, Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about men who forbid women to work. The President stressed the need to combat such cases by creating new jobs and decent working conditions.
