Official information provided on Sadyr Japarov’s visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on March 11-12.

During the upcoming high-level talks, it is planned to consider all aspects of further development and strengthening of relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting agenda of the leaders of two counties includes the continuation of constructive political dialogue, expansion of multifaceted cooperation in trade, industry, transport, energy, agriculture and water management, intensification of inter-parliamentary and inter-regional ties, implementation of joint programs in culture, health, education and tourism.

The sides will exchange views on international politics and regional cooperation.

The talks are expected to result in the adoption of a joint statement by the heads of state, as well as the signing of a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents related to various areas of bilateral relations.

According to the program of the visit, the President of Kyrgyzstan will hold meetings with the heads of both chambers of the Oliy Majlis and the Prime Minister, will get acquainted with the activities of industrial enterprises of the country.
