Fergana to open 4 factories producing electric scooters
Over the next two years, 3 plants specialized in the production of bicycles and electric scooters are expected to be opened in the “Kokand” free economic zone and 1 in Uchkuprik district. This is stated in the presidential decree.

According to the document, in 2021-2022 it is planned to commission 4 plants specialized in the production of bicycles and electric scooters.
All projects will be implemented at the expense of private entrepreneurs, three of which will be located in the “Kokand” free economic zone.
The decree provides for the implementation of 136 projects in the electrical industry, a number of privileges will be given to manufacturers of electrical products, and 75 billion soums will be allocated to the Fund for Development of the Electrical Industry.
