Shuhrat Khalmukhamedov replaces Pavel Ergashev as First Deputy Defense Minister
Shuhrat Khalmukhamedov has replaced Pavel Ergashev as First Deputy Defense Minister – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
Also, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Khalmukhamedov the rank of Major General.
Prior to his appointment, he served as Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations.
Throughout his career, Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov worked in the Security Council under the President and in the system of the Ministry of Defense.
