Uzbekistan reports 2 more coronavirus deaths

This is the first time since the beginning of the year the daily death toll exceeded 1.

Yesterday, March 29, 146 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 82,682.

According to the Health Ministry, 115 cases were registered in Tashkent, 2 – in Andijan, 3 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Namangan, 2 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 1 – in Fergana, 1 – in Khorezm and 19 – in Tashkent region.

So far, 80,799 people recovered from the disease in the country.

Currently, 1,255 people are being treated in hospitals, 191 of them are in serious and 85 – in critical condition.
