Uzbekistan developing its own COVID vaccine
Uzbekistan has begun developing its own vaccine against coronavirus.

This was announced by the Minister of Health Abdukhakim Khadjibayev.
“Our scientists have created the first protein S molecule of the COVID-19 vaccine,” he said.
Khadjibayev also stated that soon the researchers plan to begin preclinical trials of this drug on animals.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan is recognized as a co-author of the ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 vaccine, developed by Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
