Coronavirus cases surpass 83 thousand in Uzbekistan

On March 31, 181 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The total number of cases has reached 83,050, the Ministry of Health said.

Reportedly, 127 cases were registered in Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 6 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Namangan, 11 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 2 – in Surkhandarya and 18 – in Tashkent region.

Also, one patient died, bringing the death toll to 630.

So far, 81,135 people have recovered from the disease in the country. Currently, 1,285 patients are being treated in hospitals, 191 of them are in serious and 85 – in critical condition.
