Coronavirus cases reach over 83.4 thousand in Uzbekistan

On April 2, 196 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of official cases to 83,435.

According to the Ministry of Health, 144 cases were registered in Tashkent, 8 – in Karakalpakstan, 2 – in Andijan, 3 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 2 – in Namangan, 6 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 1 – in Khorezm and 23 – in Tashkent region.

So far, 81,449 people have recovered from the disease in the country. Currently, 1,356 patients are being treated in hospitals, 209 of them are in serious and 94 – in critical condition.
