Coronavirus: Daily infection cases slow down, official death toll reaches 632

On April 5, 133 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of infection cases to 83,935.

According to the Ministry of Health, 93 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 3 – in Andijan, 1 – in Bukhara, 4 – in Navoi, 2 – in Namangan, 16 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 2 – in Surkhandarya, 2 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 3 – in Tashkent region.

Yesterday, April 5, one patient died. The official death toll has reached 632 in the country.

So far, 81,881 people have recovered from the disease in Uzbekistan.

Currently, 1,422 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 209 of them are in serious and 94 – in critical condition.
