Tashkent hosts inter-MFA political consultations between Uzbekistan and Russia
On April 13, Tashkent hosted the next round of political consultations between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia.
The delegations of the parties were headed by the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziyev and Deputy FM of Russia Andrey Rudenko.
The sides thoroughly discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, scientific, educational, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. The issues of regional security and interaction within international organizations were also touched upon.
Arziyev and Rudenko exchanged views on the implementation of the previously reached agreements between Uzbekistan and Russia, considered the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels.
