More than 300 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan on April 20
The Ministry of Health has updated its daily coronavirus report, which says 326 more people tested positive for the disease in Uzbekistan on April 20.
“The total number of cases has reached 87,551, with 202 being registered in the city of Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 2 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 4 – in Namangan, 15 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Fergana and 75 – in Tashkent region,” the ministry said.
Reportedly, 1 patient died on April 20. The official death toll has reached 640.
So far, 84,717 people have recovered from the disease in the country (97%).
Currently, 2,194 patients are being treated in hospitals, 238 of them are in serious and 113 – in critical condition.
