Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrives in Uzbekistan
The Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.
He will hold talks with the Defense Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Kurbanov, Sputnik reports.
The meeting will take place in Bukhara. The parties are expected to discuss problems of international and regional security, issues of military and military-technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
Before arriving in Uzbekistan, Shoigu attended a meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers in Tajikistan and held bilateral talks with his Tajik counterpart Sherali Mirzo and President Emomali Rahmon.
