Private business entities to be permitted to conduct exams for granting driver’s license starting June 1
The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution to involve the private sector in conducting exams for granting driver’s license.
According to the document, from June 1, 2021, entrepreneurs licensed to provide non-governmental educational services for training, retraining and advanced training of drivers of motor vehicles and urban electric vehicles will have the right to conduct examinations for granting driving licenses for all types of cars.
This procedure does not apply to granting driving licenses to drive a trolleybus or tram.
For information, the presidential decree of December 7, 2020, provided for permitting the private sector to conduct examinations for granting driving licenses from April 1, 2021.
