Uzbekistan to organize an exhibition at Louvre Museum in 2022, France ready to render all possible assistance
On May 10, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov received the delegation of France headed by the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness Franck Riester, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the 8th meeting of the Uzbek-French Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further development of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The sides also considered the course of implementation of the previously reached agreements. Special attention was paid to issues related to the preparation of upcoming joint events at various levels.
The French side expressed its readiness to provide all possible assistance to Uzbekistan in organizing an exhibition at the Louvre Museum in the fall of 2022.
Following the talks, Abdulaziz Kamilov and Franck Riester signed the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and France for 2021-2022.
