School catches fire in Surkhandarya

The fire was extinguished by six fire and rescue teams of the Termez department of emergency situations.

The fire occurred at 10:00 a.m. in secondary school No. 6, located on Termiziy Street, Termez city.

5 minutes later, six fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene of the incident and managed to extinguish the fire by 10:40.

As a result of the fire, the roof and interior of the 2nd floor of the building with an area of about 120 square meters were damaged.

The cause of the fire and the scale of damage are yet to be clarified.

No casualties have been reported.
