Commercial banks increase US dollar exchange rate
The US exchange rate increased sharply in several commercial banks in Uzbekistan on Wednesday morning, May 19.
A number of banks have set the purchase rate at 10,525-10,530 soums and the sale at 10,600-10,630 soums. The last time the US currency showed an upward trend was on Monday, May 17.
Earlier, the Central Bank announced new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, which come into force from today.
According to the Central Bank, the official rate of the US currency increased by 10.89 soums and reached the mark of 10,577 soums per dollar.
