CIS prime ministers to meet in Minsk on May 28
The heads of government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will convene for in-person talks in Minsk on May 28, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.
The parties will exchange views on issues of economic interaction within the framework of the organization and will determine the date and place of their next meeting.
In a wide format, the meeting participants will discuss measures to counter the spread of infectious diseases, issues of cooperation in the field of sanitary protection and promoting employment for the citizens of member states.
It is also planned to sign documents regulating cooperation in the following matters:
- prevention and suppression of the use of false trademarks and geographical indications;
- geodesy, cartography, cadaster and remote sensing of the Earth.
It is expected that the meeting will approve the concept of cooperation between state (executive) authorities that manage state material reserves for the period up to 2030 and a plan of measures for its implementation.
