Coronavirus: Nearly 300 new cases registered, death toll at 685

280 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan on May 26. The total number of recorded cases has reached 99,344.

According to the Ministry of Health, 110 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 8 – in Karakalpakstan, 4 – in Andijan, 1 – in Bukhara, 5 – in Jizzakh, 8 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 46 – in Samarkand, 7 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 13 – in Fergana, 9 – in Khorezm and 59 – in Tashkent region.

Also, one patient died yesterday, the official death toll has reached 685.

“94,952 people have recovered from the disease so far. Currently, 3,707 patients are being treated in hospitals,” the ministry said.
