Coronavirus: Official death toll reaches 691

On June 1, 231 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 100,726.

The Ministry of Health reported that 102 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 6 – in Karakalpakstan, 4 - in Andijan, 3 – in Bukhara, 4 – in Jizzakh, 1 – in Navoi, 1 – in Namangan, 42 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 50 – in Tashkent region.

One patient died yesterday. The death toll has reached 691.

The number of recovered stands at 96,569. Currently, 3,466 people are being treated in hospitals.
