Health Ministry provides information on the number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 since year beginning
How many people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection between January 1, 2021 and the first ten days of June? The press service of the Health Ministry provided information on this.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the press service of the Health Ministry has been publishing daily statistics on coronavirus infections. According to these statistics, as of January 1, 2021, 77,182 citizens tested positive for coronavirus, while as of June 10, 2021, 102,892 people tested positive for coronavirus. Over the past five months, 25,710 civilians have contracted the virus.
In terms of regions, since the beginning of the year, 14,767 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the city of Tashkent, 413 – in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 522 – in Andijan, 431 – in Bukhara, 436 – in Jizzakh, 339 – in Kashkadarya, 189 – in Navoi, 411 – in Namangan, 2,735 – in Samarkand, 344 – in Syrdarya, 282 – in Surkhandarya, 537 – in Fergana, 485 – in Khorezm and 3,819 – in Tashkent region.
