Coronavirus: Number of daily cases continues to grow in Uzbekistan

The Health Ministry reported 350 people contracted the coronavirus and 342 people recovered from the disease in the past day.

“On June 15, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 104,463 (+350),” the report said.

This was the highest figure during the current month. The last time the daily morbidity rate was above 350, which was observed on May 13.

According to the Ministry of Health, 173 new cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 14 – in Karakalpakstan, 3 – in Andijan, 11 – in Bukhara, 16 – in Jizzakh, 8 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 7 – in Namangan, 24 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 36 – in Surkhandarya, 6 – in Fergana, 6 – in Khorezm and 41 – in Tashkent region.

The number of recovered stands at 100,328 (+342).

Also, 2 patients died yesterday and the official death toll reached 709.

Currently, 3,424 patients are being treated in hospitals.
