Uzbekistan ranked 90th in Global Peace Index
According to analysts, Uzbekistan is one of the middle-level peace-loving countries.

Uzbekistan ranked 90th place in the Global Peace Index of the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP).
Analysts believe that Uzbekistan is one of the middle-level peace-loving countries. Kazakhstan (67th place), Kyrgyzstan (76th place), Tajikistan (97th place), Turkmenistan (109th place), Azerbaijan (121st place) are also in this group.
North Korea, Venezuela, Sudan, Russia, the Central African Republic, Libya, the Congo, Iraq, Somalia were among the most aggressive countries. The last countries in the list are Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan.
Iceland was recognized as the most peaceful country. The top ten also includes New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Canada.
The Index considered such factors as social solidarity, respect for human rights, political and economic stability, the number of prisoners in prisons, the level of the threat of terrorism, defense spending and participation in hostilities of other countries.
