“On June 15, 2021 at about 04:00 in the Chilanzar district, 44-year-old citizen of the Republic of South Korea, K.D., being intoxicated, quarreled with his friend. During the scuffle, he stabbed 39-year-old citizen of the Republic of South Korea K.Zh.Yu., who is a trainer in the Taekwondo WTF Association. The victim was inflicted grievous bodily harm,” the message reads.
The victim was taken to hospital, but despite the efforts of the medical staff, he died the next day.
On this fact, the Investigation Department of the Tashkent city DIA initiated a criminal case against K.D. under Article 104-3, Paragraph “d” of the Criminal Code. The Korean man was kept in custody. The preliminary investigation is underway.
