13 citizens summoned to court for blocking the railway in Kashkadarya
Blocking the railway, the protesters tried to draw the attention of the Chirokchi district khokim to the problem of their village.
13 citizens who participated in the blocking of the railway were sent a subpoena. On June 25, the Chirokchi District Court for Criminal Cases will hear this case, following which a legal assessment of the actions of citizens will be given.
Recall that on June 7, in the Chirokchi district, a group of people blocked the railway at the Ayritom station, along which the Afrosiyob high-speed train was supposed to pass. They made in order to draw the attention of the Chirokchi district khokim, Khurram Jurayev, to the problem of Obodon village.
Residents of a number of makhallas planned to ask the head of the district to connect the village to another more powerful transformer, since the electricity supply in their village is unsatisfactory. On the same day, the khokim of the district met with citizens on the territory of the Eskianhor mahalla, where he promised to solve the problem of villagers.
It is worth noting that the protesters stayed on the railway from 09:00 to 10:20 in the morning. The high-speed train drove to the Ayritom station on schedule at 11:16 in the morning. No injuries or collisions have been reported.
