Uzbekistan reports over 500 coronavirus cases on June 25
Over the past day, more than 500 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of registered cases to 108,730.
This is another highest figure recorded since the beginning of the year.
According to the Ministry of Health, 164 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 12 – in Karakalpakstan, 13 – in Andijan, 20 – in Bukhara, 21 – in Jizzakh, 10 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Navoi, 8 – in Namangan, 90 – in Samarkand, 11 – in Syrdarya, 30 – in Surkhandarya, 32 – in Fergana, 35 – in Khorezm and 94 – in Tashkent region.
As of June 25, the number of recovered stands at 104,461 (+454).
Also, 2 coronavirus patients died. The official death toll stands at 727.
Currently, 3,542 patients are being treated in hospitals.
