Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay
On June 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay, who is in the country on a working visit.
According to the presidential press service, during the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further expanding practical interaction and promoting new projects of cooperation between leading enterprises and companies of the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of preparing the agenda for the second meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Tashkent.
The issues of increasing trade and the scale of cooperation, the adoption of the Preferential Trade Agreement, the creation of a joint industrial zone, the promotion of programs in the field of digitalization, education and other sectors of the economy with the active involvement of advanced Turkish experience, knowledge and technology were especially noted.
The sides exchanged views on topical aspects of regional partnership and interaction within the framework of international organizations.
