Mandatory five-year certification of enterprise employees for transportation of passengers abolished

A government decree “On measures to improve the system of advanced training and retraining of personnel in the field of road transport" was adopted.
According to the decree:
- The requirements for presenting documents to obtain a license and pass certification every five years for transport safety workers and employees of legal entities engaged in the passenger and goods transportation is abolished;
- Improvement of knowledge, level of qualification and professional skill of employees of legal entities engaged in transportation of passengers and goods by car is carried out at least once every three years;
- Transportation of passengers and goods will be allowed for legal entities with employees that have at least 3 years of experience, higher professional education in automobile or technical direction and a qualification certificate;
- Above condition does not apply to employees of legal entities engaged in the transportation of household waste on specially equipped vehicles and the provision of public services.
In order to introduce the practice of issuing electronic certificates to graduates of advanced training courses in educational institutions, it is planned to create a system “Repository of electronic certificates”.
