Nearly 500 people test positive for COVID-19
On July 1, 495 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of registered cases to 111,658.
“99 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 47 – in Karakalpakstan, 34 – in Andijan, 31 – in Bukhara, 31 – in Jizzakh, 15 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 39 – in Namangan, 52 – in Samarkand, 20 – in Syrdarya, 32 – in Surkhandarya, 39 – in Fergana, 5 – in Khorezm and 46 – in Tashkent region,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Also, 2 patients died yesterday. The official death toll has reached 742.
As of July 1, the number of recovered stands at 108,009 (+313).
