Coronavirus: Health Ministry starts running separate statistics on pneumonia cases
On July 5, 496 people were diagnosed with coronavirus and 172 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 113,568.
Reportedly, 148 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 19 – in Karakalpakstan, 23 – in Andijan, 25 – in Bukhara, 45 – in Jizzakh, 12 – in Kashkadarya, 10 – in Navoi, 24 – in Namangan, 49 – in Samarkand, 18 – in Syrdarya, 21 – in Surkhandarya, 27 – in Fergana, 21 – in Khorezm and 54 – in Tashkent region.
Also, 172 people were diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday, 3 patients died. The official death toll is at 754.
As of July 5, the number of recovered stands at 109,349 (+281).
