FM Abdulaziz Kamilov receives First Deputy Minister of Nepal
On July 12, 2021, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal Bharat Raj Paudyal, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the International High-Level Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Interconnectedness. Challenges and Opportunities”.
During the talks, the agenda of bilateral relations in the political, trade and economic, tourism, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres was discussed.
The parties stressed their readiness to continue interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as other multilateral structures.
It was noted at the meeting that Uzbekistan is in favor of giving an additional impetus to the strengthening of trade and economic ties between Central and South Asian countries, including with Nepal.
The Nepalese side stressed that it attaches great importance to the upcoming conference and believes that its results will contribute to the rapprochement of the two regions.
During the talks, other issues of mutual interest were also considered.
