In accordance with a relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, Dilshod Sattarov has been appointed director of the Agency for Technical Regulation under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.
It should be recalled that in early June, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the cardinal improvement of public administration in the field of technical regulation.
The decree instructed to establish the Agency for Technical Regulation under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade on the basis of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Certification.
Dilshod Sattarov previously worked as the head of the treasury, deputy minister of finance of Uzbekistan. In August 2018, he became the head of the Uzstandart agency.
He was born in 1976 in Namangan region. In 1998 he graduated from the Andijan Engineering and Economic Institute, in 2010 from the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of Uzbekistan.
