Coronavirus: Over 500 new cases registered, death toll reaches 793

On July 16, 501 people tested positive for coronavirus and 416 for pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 118,881.

Reportedly, 115 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 33 – in Karakalpakstan, 22 – in Andijan, 12 – in Bukhara, 57 – in Jizzakh, 17 – in Kashkadarya, 15 – in Navoi, 18 – in Namangan, 38 – in Samarkand, 27 – in Syrdarya, 35 – in Surkhandarya, 44 – in Fergana, 17 – in Khorezm and 51 – in Tashkent region.

Also, 4 patients died yesterday. The official death toll is at 793.

As of July 16, the number of recovered stands at 113,825 (+564).
