Coronavirus and pneumonia: Nearly 1,100 new cases registered, 5 people died 

On July 18, 585 people tested positive for coronavirus and 462 for pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 119,973.

Reportedly, 117 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 50 – in Karakalpakstan, 18 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 63 – in Jizzakh, 18 – in Kashkadarya, 12 – in Navoi, 35 – in Namangan, 56 – in Samarkand, 25 – in Syrdarya, 59 – in Surkhandarya, 42 – in Fergana, 14 – in Khorezm and 61 – in Tashkent region.

Also, 5 patients died yesterday. The official death toll is at 801.

As of July 18, the number of recovered stands at 114,865 (+562).
