Coronavirus and pneumonia: 1,200 new cases reported on July 22
On July 22, 738 people tested positive for coronavirus and 462 for pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 122,786.
Reportedly, 118 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 76 – in Karakalpakstan, 19 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 85 – in Jizzakh, 19 – in Kashkadarya, 17 – in Navoi, 31 – in Namangan, 78 – in Samarkand, 28 – in Syrdarya, 77 – in Surkhandarya, 65 – in Fergana, 21 – in Khorezm and 89 – in Tashkent region.
Also, 5 patients died yesterday. The official death toll is 819.
As of July 22, the number of recovered stands at 117,303 (+548).
