Coronavirus: Daily death toll beats previous records
On July 23, 773 people tested positive for coronavirus and 507 for pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 123,559.
Reportedly, 109 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 68 – in Karakalpakstan, 21 – in Andijan, 17 – in Bukhara, 94 – in Jizzakh, 14 – in Kashkadarya, 12 – in Navoi, 33 – in Namangan, 85 – in Samarkand, 27 – in Syrdarya, 88 – in Surkhandarya, 81 – in Fergana, 29 – in Khorezm and 95 – in Tashkent region.
Also, 7 patients died yesterday. The official death toll is 826.
As of July 23, the number of recovered stands at 117,962 (+659).
