Coronavirus and pneumonia: Nearly 1400 new cases registered
On July 27, 843 people tested positive for coronavirus and 556 for pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 126,627.
Reportedly, 123 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 80 – in Karakalpakstan, 21 – in Andijan, 21 – in Bukhara, 89 – in Jizzakh, 24 – in Kashkadarya, 18 – in Navoi, 31 – in Namangan, 85 – in Samarkand, 27 – in Syrdarya, 95 – in Surkhandarya, 75 – in Fergana, 56 – in Khorezm and 98 – in Tashkent region.
These are the highest daily rates during the pandemic period, both for coronavirus and pneumonia cases (total +1,399).
Also, 8 patients died yesterday. The official death toll is 853.
As of July 27, the number of recovered stands at 121,145 (+825).
