Gasoline price rose by 4% in July, propane price by 5.5%

The annual inflation rate is 11.1%. In July, food prices fell by 0.9%, services by 0.2% and non-food prices by 0.5%.

In July 2021, prices for goods and services in the consumer market fell by an average of 0.2%. For comparison, in July 2020, goods and services fell by an average of 0.3% during the month, and in 2019 by 0.4%.

Since the beginning of this year, the growth rate of prices in the consumer sector has accounted for 4.2%, and the average monthly growth rate – 0.6%.

The annual inflation rate reached 11.1%. For reference, the annual total inflation rate in July 2020 was 14.4%, and in July 2019 – 13.5%.

In July, food prices fell by 0.9%, services – by 0.2% and non-food prices – by 0.5%.

Over the past month, due to seasonal factors, fruits and nuts fell in price by 7%, vegetables and legumes – by 4.2%, dairy products and eggs – by 0.6%.

However, meat products rose in price by 1.2%.

Annually, oil and fat products (by 1.5 times), vegetables, root vegetables and legumes (by 25.6%), fruits and nuts (by 16.5%), sugar, confectionery and desserts (by 15.7%) rose significantly. 

The largest price increase in non-food products in July was due to gasoline (4%) and propane (5.5%). On an annualized basis, gasoline has risen by 40%.
