A plane of Afghan Air Forces crashes in Uzbekistan
The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan has confirmed the fact of the crash of an Afghan Air Forces plane in the Surkhandarya region.
Previously, photographs and video footage were circulated on social network showing parts of the crashed plane of the alleged Afghan Air Forces.

It is indicated that the incident took place in the Sherabad district, Surkhandarya region, on the evening of August 15, one serviceman of the Afghan government forces was injured.
“We are now studying this video and information, a detailed analysis is underway,” a spokesman of the Defense Ministry told Kun.uz
He added that the results of the investigation will be announced in the near future.
Later, TASS published a message that the Defense Ministry of Uzbekistan confirmed the fact of the crash of an Afghan Air Forces plane in the Surkhandarya region.
It should be recalled that on August 15, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan commented on the situation on the Afghan-Uzbek border.
As the MFA press service reported, on August 14, at one of the sections of the state border with Afghanistan, a group of military personnel of the Afghan Armed Forces in the amount of 84 people crossed the state border line. They were detained by the SSS border detachments.
At the same time, violators of the border did not offer resistance and asked for help.
