Coronavirus cases surpass 145 thousand in Uzbekistan
On August 17, 851 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 398 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 145,615 (+851).
Reportedly, 191 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 85 – in Karakalpakstan, 35 – in Andijan, 21 – in Bukhara, 49 – in Jizzakh, 21 – in Kashkadarya, 17 – in Navoi, 25 – in Namangan, 95 – in Samarkand, 25 – in Syrdarya, 75 – in Surkhandarya, 88 – in Fergana, 27 – in Khorezm and 97 – in Tashkent region.
7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 994.
As of August 17, the number of recovered stands at 138,230 (+773).
Also, 398 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 19,200. According to the Ministry of Health, 422 of them recovered yesterday (11,793 in total).
3 pneumonia patients died on August 17, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 129.
