Fines, fees and duties to increase in Uzbekistan
On August 17, the President signed a decree raising wages, pensions, stipends and allowances.
According to decree, starting from September 1 of this year, the minimum payout for labor (MPL) for employees of budgetary institutions and organizations, pensions, stipends and allowances will increase by an average of 10%.
In addition, from September 1, the base calculating amount (BCA) will increase from 245 thousand to 270 thousand soums.
It should be recalled that the BCA is applied in determining:
- the amount of taxes, fees, fines, state duties and other payments for the provided state services;
- the cost of a patent, license and other payments for engaging in a certain type of entrepreneurial activity, the amount of statutory and other funds (capital) of organizations, the cost of non-cash paid shares, other securities, the book value of assets of legal entities, the maximum size of microcredits and leasing, as well as other financial and economic indicators.
Previously, administrative fines and other payments were linked to the MPL. With an increase in salaries, fines, duties, etc. automatically increased.
