Former khokimiyat employees get involved in illegal sale of land in Tashkent
Citizen Y.N. applied to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who said that Abdurashid and Orif, residents of the Kibray district of Tashkent region, promised to sell 7 hectares of land leased for 49 years. They also guaranteed to formalize it through a friend working in the khokimiyat. In return, they demanded $225,000.
As the MIA press service reported, on August 18 of this year, employees of the Criminal Procedural Department under the MIA, SSS department of the Shaykhantakhur distirct, as well as the Shaykhantakhur District Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office held a joint operative event, during which near the pensioners’ boarding house on the 19th block in the Yunusabad district, citizen A.O. was detained upon receipt from the applicant Y.N. $5,000 out of the agreed $225,000. Material evidence was seized.
During the investigation of A.O. reported that $5,000 received from the applicant Y.N. should have been transferred to the owner of the land, T.R., in this regard, the operative event was continued. On August 19 of this year, T.R. and A.M., who worked in the period 2011-2018 in responsible posts in the Kibray district khokimiyat, on the territory of the Utkir makhalla, Kibray district, were detained red-handed while receiving from A.O. $5,000.
On this fact, on August 19, the Shaykhantakhur District Department under the PGO initiated a criminal case against A.O., T.R. and A.M. on the basis of Paragraph “a” of Article 168-4 and Paragraph “a” of Articles 28-3, 211 of the Criminal Code.
