Gov’t approves list of private universities officially engaged in providing education services
The State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers has published a list of private universities that have received official licenses to provide services in Uzbekistan.
According to the current legislation, in order for non-state educational organizations to conduct their activities in the field of higher education, it is necessary to obtain a license from the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education.
With the approaching of the new academic year, the state body has announced the names of private universities that have received a license.
The list includes:
- Singapore Institute for Management Development in Tashkent;
- Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent;
- Inha University in Tashkent;
- Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent;
- Amity University in Tashkent;
- Center for the implementation of educational programs at Webster University in Tashkent;
- AKFA University;
- Kokand University;
- Korean International University in Fergana;
- TEAM University;
- British University of Management in Tashkent;
- Tashkent International University of Education;
- branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent;
- European Medical University;
- Stars International University;
- Institute of World Languages named after Mamun;
- Al-Bukhari University;
- Cambridge International University;
- TMC University.
The inspectorate also recalled that non-state universities independently determine the deadline for admission of documents and the procedure for admitting students.
