Ambassador Bahrom Ashrafkhanov presents his credentials to President of Georgia
The ambassador of Uzbekistan has presented his credentials to the President of Georgia.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Georgia with residence in Baku Bahrom Ashrafkhanov has presented his credentials to the President of the country Salome Zourabichvili.
During the conversation following the official ceremony, the President of Georgia conveyed her greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
It should be recalled that Bahrom Ashrafkhanov was appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan in April 2020.
Prior to that appointment, he had served as Executive Director of the Off-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.
From February to September 2019, he worked as Deputy Minister of Finance in charge of Social Affairs, and earlier (since September 2018) – interim Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz. In 2016-2018, he was the Uzbek ambassador to Russia.
