Andijan to commission new micro hydropower plant
A new micro-hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 120 kW will be launched in Andijan region, the Ministry of Energy reports.
According to the ministry, the new hydropower plant will provide 600 homes with environmentally friendly electricity.
It is noted that the small hydroelectric power station is equipped with four hydroelectric units with a capacity of 30 kW each. Thanks to such power, it will be able to generate 1 million 52 thousand kWh of electricity per year.
Installation, finishing and commissioning works are currently underway on the pipeline of the micro-hydroelectric power plant.
