Health Ministry reports 526 COVID-19, 96 pneumonia cases
On September 12, 526 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 96 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 164,890 (+526).
Reportedly, 179 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 17 – in Karakalpakstan, 18 – in Andijan, 12 – in Bukhara, 14 – in Jizzakh, 10 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Navoi, 18 – in Namangan, 62 – in Samarkand, 15 – in Syrdarya, 18 – in Surkhandarya, 59 – in Fergana, 15 – in Khorezm and 83 – in Tashkent region.
6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,159.
As of September 12, the number of recovered stands at 157,139 (+644).
Also, 96 people tested positive for pneumonia on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 25,478. According to the Ministry of Health, 247 of them recovered yesterday (19,822 in total).
1 pneumonia patients died on September 12, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 205.
