Fraudsters trying to sell a fake $1 million banknote detained in Tashkent
Two fraudsters tried to sell a $1 million banknote in Tashkent, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
The men offered to sell to a “client” a banknote of no value for $40 thousand.
They were detained at the time of selling the bill.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, the department added.
