Uzbekistan exported nearly $550 million worth of fruits and vegetables in Jan-Aug 2021

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-August 2021, Uzbekistan exported 948.6 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables for $548.6 million.

The country’s exports included:

• fruits and berries – 198.4 thousand tons
• dried fruits and berries – 32.7 thousand tons
• vegetables – 576.7 thousand tons
• pepper – 9.8 thousand tons
• grapes – 57.2 thousand tons
• raisins – 21.6 thousand tons
• peanuts – 13.0 thousand tons
• watermelon – 53.6 thousand tons
