Bukhara Oil Refinery starts producing AI-98 gasoline

The Bukhara Oil Refinery has begun production of AI-98 gasoline, Spot reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

The company notes that this is the first own production of this brand of gasoline in Uzbekistan. Preparatory studies have been carried out since the beginning of 2021.

AI-98 gasoline is used primarily in cars with engines with an increased compression ratio (12-14). It increases engine power and improves acceleration performance with lower fuel consumption.

In January, the plant began producing high-quality AI-95 QuWatt gasoline. In addition, by the end of the year, it is planned to complete the construction of two storage facilities with a volume of 5,000 cubic meters for storing synthetic kerosene from the GTL plant that is being prepared for launch.
