Coronavirus and pneumonia: Nearly 600 new cases reported
On September 28, 510 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 67 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 173,409 (+510).
Reportedly, 227 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 13 – in Karakalpakstan, 11 – in Andijan, 6 – in Bukhara, 12 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 10 – in Namangan, 32 – in Samarkand, 9 – in Syrdarya, 15 – in Surkhandarya, 31 – in Fergana, 11 – in Khorezm and 124 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,234.
As of September 28, the number of recovered stands at 168,359 (+659).
Also, 67 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 27,084. According to the Ministry of Health, 64 of them recovered yesterday (25,365 in total).
2 pneumonia patients died on September 28, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 229.
