Coronavirus and pneumonia: Daily infection cases drop significantly

On October 11, 349 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 10 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 178,986 (+349).

Reportedly, 158 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 10 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 6 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 10 – in Namangan, 32 – in Samarkand, 10 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Surkhandarya, 21 – in Fergana, 15 – in Khorezm and 66 – in Tashkent region.

2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,273.

As of October 11, the number of recovered stands at 174,642 (+429).

Also, 10 people tested positive for pneumonia on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 27,480. According to the Ministry of Health, 24 of them recovered yesterday (25,947 in total).
